Flip the Lens is based on a simple premise. The less we focus on ourselves and the more we are interested in others, the happier and more engaged we will be. We will have better relationships, and more of them.
This is not to say we are anti self-reflection. But according to research, the average person has approximately 60,000 thoughts per day–and that 75% of these thoughts are negative, and 95% are repetitive. Yikes.
Left to our own “devices” (pun intended), that’s how our minds work. So, we all need healthy substitutes that train our minds to another, more positive and productive, default.
